2026 Season and Awards

The 2026 cricket season is now over and it was a tale of 2 opposite stories for our 1st and 2nd XI

Our 1st XI sadly saw themselves have a difficult season. From being close to promotion in the 2025 season to finishing last and being relegated to division 5 in 2026. Although this is not the season the club wanted, the determination to gain immediate promotion back to division 4 is felt all across the club and we hope to be back where we believe the club belongs soon.

Our 2nd XI on the other hand had a great season, playing 13, winning 11 and only losing 2 gaining promotion to division 8 through finishing 2nd in the league. Alongside the domestic success the team has seen a lot of young talent step up and develop this season which only helps us becomes stronger for the future.

The club had it's awards presentation evening on the 5th of September where we celebrated individuals within the club and the success of the 2nd XI in this 2026 season. The full details of the awards can be seen here:
